Porto Heli beach
The beach at Porto Heli bay is a sandy golden beach, just 500 meters away from our marina, where you can anchor your yacht and enjoy the quiet gulf. Its crystal clear waters are suitable for swimming all day, while the view of “Elli’s tower” and the small boats draw an absolutely picturesque landscape for summer relaxation.
The beach is organized, meaning it offers amenities such as toilets, showers, changing rooms and sun-beds. From morning to late afternoon you can visit the beach bar and relax on sun-beds under the shade of beach umbrellas. Nearby you will also find wonderful restaurants and taverns where fresh fish is served.
Kosta Beach
At a short distance from Porto Heli and less than 5 kilometers away from Marina Porto Heli, lies the beach of Kosta. It is a dreamy beach with shallow and clear waters, which is preferred by many families with small children. The picturesque settlement of Kosta spreads just behind the beach.
Kosta is a busy beach as boats and water taxis depart from there to Spetses every day. The beach itself combines almost everything regarding summer entertainment such as water sports, beach volleyball, but also taverns, restaurants and cafes. Visit Costa beach, if you want to escape your everyday routine, specially if you are in the mood for some loud moments by the sea.
Hinitsa bay
At an equally close distance from Marina Porto Heli lies the organized Hinitsa bay. Hinitsa is a beautiful islet with an idyllic bay. It is a favorite destination for Greeks and tourists looking to spend a few days relaxing without leaving too far away from Athens.
Near the beach there is an amazing tavern with traditional Greek cuisine. But the real treasure of Hinitsa is a hidden isolated beach, which you can reach via a small path at the left of the long Hinitsa beach. Agios Emilianos
Agios Emilianos is a cape about 6 kilometers from Porto Heli. It has traditionally been a common vacation destination for the international jet set.
It is an area of incomparable natural beauty with pine trees reaching all the way to the sea. The beach itself is pebbly with crystal clear blue waters. Since it is an unorganized beach, remember to have everything you need on board for a full day at sea.
Kounoupi
Kounoupi is said to be the “Monaco of Greece“. At a distance of 6.3 km from the Marina Porto Heli, you will find Kounoupi beach. It is probably the most beautiful beach in the area. With turquoise waters, fine pebbles and white sand, a visit to Kounoupi beach will be as promising as it sounds.
It is an unorganized beach as well and has land access only from a rural road. Of course you can also visit it with your yacht. Remember to bring everything necessary with you, as there is no beach bar anywhere close.
Ververonda
Ververonda beach (or Ververuda), 4.3 kilometers to the west of our marina, is ideal for moments of relaxation. It is one of the largest pine-covered beaches in the area and has beach umbrellas, a cafe-bar and a restaurant. Visit Ververonda to relax with your book and enjoy a romantic sunset.
Paralia Limanakia
This beach actually consists of two coves. One cove has waters that deepen gradually and is suitable for children, while the other is for deep blue-green water lovers. Limanakia is located in the area of Agios Emilianos. It could be a good opportunity to swim in these waters if you are already cruising there with your yacht.
This beach is a must-visit for all water sports lovers, as here you can do water skiing, slalom, parasailing, windsurfing, sailing, diving and jet skiing. Near the beach you will also find open tennis courts, if you’d like to combine sports with a swim in the beautiful waters of the bay.
